Toyota RAV4 maintenance schedules
Our RAV4 coverage crosses the 2018 to 2019 generation line. XA40 models run the 2AR-FE 2.5L with a 6-speed automatic; the 2019 XA50 moves to the Dynamic Force engine, an 8-speed, and 0W-16 oil, so the two schedules read differently despite the shared nameplate.
AWD versions of every year add rear driveline fluid to the plan, and the factory schedule only ever inspects it. Owners who tow or run gravel should treat periodic replacement as routine.
