Chevrolet Equinox maintenance schedules
The Equinox line breaks cleanly at 2018. Second-generation models run the 2.4L four, with its documented oil-consumption history, or the trouble-free 3.6L V6. The third generation goes all-turbo with a 1.5L and 2.0L whose 60,000-mile plug interval catches owners off guard.
Both generations follow GM pacing on oil, filters, coolant, and brake fluid. The practical difference is the watch item: dipstick discipline on the older 2.4L, ignition schedule discipline on the newer turbos.
